Adults Can Play, Too (A Poem About Creativity & Art)

by admin June 23, 2015
written by admin June 23, 2015

Why should kids get to have all the fun?
Why should childhood be full of rainbows
while adulthood drags on and on in monotones?
Adults can play, too.
We can pretend,
dress up,
create,
and imagine again the stories
of love, redemption, joy.

That’s what creativity should be ultimately for:
Keeping the heart young, alert, fresh.
